How long do PDO threads last?

The initial treatment will lift and tighten the skin immediately. PDO threads dissolve after approximately 6 months; however, the PDO thread lift will create long lasting collagen production. Final results come at 6-8 months. In general, results last 18 months to 2 years.

How much does a PDO thread lift cost?

PDO thread lift is far less invasive and less expensive than a typical face lift. Dr. Uy’s most popular area of thread lift is $1,500 for the full lower half of face thread lift. Many other areas can be treated with threads. We recommend making an appointment for a consultation that way costs can be custom for how many threads you may need.

What do I expect at the PDO thread lift appointment?

Dr. Uy will perform a consultation and go over your concerns and goals. He will determine which thread will work best (they come in a variety of strengths and textures) to achieve desired results. We will clean, prep and numb your face to ensure your comfort. Then we will mark your face and then Dr. Uy will perform threading. It is important post treatment that you do not stretch the treatment area for 2 weeks. Doing so may alter results.
